Hiring a Kitchen Manager at Chi'Lantro BBQ

We are currently seeking a Kitchen Manager to help the General Manager oversee the day-to-day operations of one of our restaurants. The Kitchen Manager plays a vital role in the restaurant.
As a Kitchen Manager you help lead the overall operations of our restaurants, and assist the General Manager to ensure the successful execution of daily service that meets and exceeds our company standards, while delivering exemplary customer service, by ensuring only high quality food is prepared in a meticulously clean environment, while sustaining a profitable and efficient establishment.

What You Do:

✔ Ensure high food quality by prepping and cooking food to order, follow kitchen procedures.
✔ Monitor food waste and inventory levels, resolve food quality issues.
✔ Developing a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house.
✔ Communicate with crew members effectively to ensure great customer service, impeccable cleanliness of our restaurant, and high-quality food.
✔ Ensure the kitchen is properly cleaned and sanitized.
✔ Monitor kitchen equipment to ensure it functions properly, make sure malfunctioning equipment is repaired as quickly as possible.
✔ Managing Inventory Rotation (FIFO) and Safety protocols.
✔ Ensuring an accurate inventory is completed and submitted on a weekly basis.
✔ Ensure all guests receive superior service.
✔ Handle guest complaints and resolve them according to Chi’Lantro company protocol.
✔ Delegate daily tasks, cleaning tasks, prep work and other projects to crew members. Supervise to ensure completed to Chi’Lantro standards.
✔ Work directly with General Manager to implement policies and procedures.
✔ Order food products, beverage products, cleaning supplies and other dry goods in a timely manner so that items are always stocked. Work with vendors to find solutions if inventory issues arise.
✔ Create a crew schedule that meets business needs and strives to stay under labor pars.
✔ Assist with operational matters based on General Manager’s needs.
✔ Touch tables, greet guests, run food, take orders, practice proper table maintenance (pre-bussing/clearing).
✔ Organize tip pool and allocation, use refund/comp functions in accordance with company policies.
✔ Manage Purchase Journal data entry process by coding and inputting invoices into cloud document.
✔ Make payroll adjustments before payroll deadlines.
✔ Maintain proper labor in accordance to business needs.
✔ Maintain safe work habits and conditions. Correct and train staff when service/cleanliness standards are compromised or safety rules are broken or not understood.
✔ Resolve staff conflicts and consult General Manager on any staff issues.
✔ Execute new hire training programs and work with General Manager to further develop existing programs.
✔ Ensure all operational checklists are completed and submitted daily.
✔ Ensure the daily Level 10 Meeting is conducted daily before service.
