Skills

What We are Looking For

We are looking for a People Operations Assistant to support Chi'Lantro's team members and leaders by ensuring seamless People Operations. Guided by our Core Values of Dedication, Authenticity, Resilience, and Thankfulness, this role provides hands-on support across multiple locations, assisting with team member relations, compliance, recruiting, payroll, benefits administration, and training initiatives.

With a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, the People Operations Assistant enhances engagement, ensures compliance, and improves People Operations processes as Chi'Lantro continues to grow.

  • You are passionate about being an in-store People Operations presence, regularly visiting restaurant locations to support managers and team members.
  • You thrive in team member relations, addressing concerns, conducting check-ins, and supporting conflict resolution.
  • You enjoy recruiting efforts, attending hiring events, conducting interviews, and helping managers with hiring best practices.
  • You can effectively post and advertise open positions to attract top talent.
  • You are detail-oriented and ensure compliance with training and licensing requirements across all locations.
  • You excel at conducting file audits for electronic employment records, identifying deficiencies, and ensuring accurate information.
  • You have experience with benefits administration, processing enrollments, terminations, and changes.
  • You can manage payroll processing and address payroll-related inquiries with accuracy and efficiency.
  • You can administer employee health benefits, including Chi’Lantro’s comprehensive insurance programs.
  • You can prepare and analyze HR reports such as attendance, new hire, and turnover reports to provide insights for decision-making.
  • You are a problem-solver who can conduct research and provide recommendations to support HR policy and procedure implementation.
  • You are excited to coordinate and assist with New Restaurant Openings (NROs), including travel arrangements and staffing support.
  • You proactively identify opportunities to improve internal HR processes and workflows as the company scales.
  • You are an effective communicator who can collaborate with leaders in a timely and professional manner to support HR initiatives.
  • You are a go-to point of contact for team members, responding to inquiries and escalating issues as needed.
  • You love supporting team member engagement and recognition programs across multiple locations.
  • You are proactive in conducting workplace audits, safety checks, and compliance reviews at store locations.
  • You are passionate about training and development, coordinating onboarding sessions, tracking training progress, and supporting leadership development programs.
  • You can provide in-person training support at store locations, ensuring compliance with company standards and reinforcing best practices.
  • You can identify training gaps and contribute to developing learning materials.
  • You are adaptable and ready to perform other duties as needed to support the People Operations team.
