Responsibilities:

• Lead, train, and support the Host/Hostess team, ensuring all Chotto Matte service standards and global Steps of Service are consistently met.
• Assist the Reception Manager with daily operations, bookings, and maintaining a smooth, manageable service.
• Prepare and manage the reception area, ensuring set-ups, reservations, special functions, and cloakroom standards are executed to a high level.
• Oversee communication and coordination between reception, guests, and all internal departments for seamless service.
• Handle guest interaction professionally, including calls, emails, booking platform messages, and adapting to last-minute changes.
• Maintain safety, hygiene, and compliance, reporting hazards and ensuring all staff follow health and sanitation standards.
• Uphold professionalism and complete required training, following company guidelines, appearance standards, and any additional duties assigned.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a restaurant host in a high-volume restaurant
• Previous experience with reservation platform Sevenrooms
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
