Position Overview:

We are looking for a hardworking and motivated person to join our bar team as a full-time Barback. As a Barback at Chotto Matte, you will play a vital support role in ensuring the bar operates smoothly and efficiently, enabling our bartenders to deliver outstanding service to our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Support bartenders by restocking spirits, beer, wine, glassware, and bar supplies
• Ensure the bar area is clean, organised, and fully stocked at all times
• Assist with ice replenishment and garnish preparation
• Clear and clean bar tops and surrounding areas during service
• Collect empty glassware and return it to the bar or wash area promptly
• Work closely with Bartenders, Runners, and Floor teams to maintain smooth service flow
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Barback or Runner in a high-volume hospitality environment 
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-energy setting
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Physical stamina and ability to handle heavy lifting
• Attention to detail and a proactive attitude
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
