Position Summary
The Events
Operations Director is responsible for overseeing all banquet and event
operations, ensuring flawless execution, exceptional guest experiences, and
seamless coordination between culinary, service, sales, and operations teams.
This leader drives operational excellence, maintains financial discipline,
develops a high-performing team, and ensures all events—whether corporate,
social, or large-scale entertainment—are executed to brand standards. The
Events Operations Director is a hands-on presence who anticipates needs,
mitigates challenges, and upholds a culture of hospitality, professionalism,
and accountability.

Overview of Responsibilities
Event Operations Management
● Work alongside the Operations Service Director to ensure synergy between Operations and Events.
● Create, execute, and support ongoing training initiatives targeted at cross developing all Operations managers to successfully execute Events.
● Ensure seamless execution of all Private Events services per the BEOs and standards set forth by the Sales team.
● Spearhead Public Events, from conception through execution.
● Oversee and approve all schedules for the Events team. The Events Service Director will approve schedules for all events operations at P57
● Ensure staffing levels are appropriate for each event’s scale and service style.
● Create training plans for all Events team members following CW templates and standards. (Captains, Events Bartenders, Events Servers, Events Setup Crew).
● Ensure weekly and monthly service standards are outlined for the team aimed at streamlining and improving service.
● Accountable for ensuring all labor scheduled is in alignment with target percentages (under 12%).
● Ensure that all beverage, food, and other administrative fees are managed and reconciled properly through Toast.
● In partnership with Sales teams, strategize, develop, and produce service space design [Floorplans, Maps, Flow Charts]
● Streamline and develop checklists and organizational flow of communications between Sales and Operations
● Identify potential risks associated with event operations, and develop contingency plans to ensure event success and compliance
● Collaborate with Operations Service Director and Beverage and Wine Managers to ensure successful resource allocation so events are adequately staffed, supplied, and equipped
● Assists in managing property and internal departments, ensuring successful execution of events and daily activities
● Monitor event operations and ensure client satisfaction
● Address Event Service issues in collaboration with the Operations Service Director and Sales Director.
● Oversees pre-event messaging and event operations notes
● Manage Event Service teams, and uphold service standards and expectations
● Establish and maintain vendor relationships and ensure service success and policy adherence
● Meet with department heads weekly to ensure operational alignment on upcoming events
● Conduct weekly auditing and ordering for all Events Camped, execute a monthly inventory of all Events and work with Sales Coordinator to ensure all rentals are delivered and retrieved on time.
● Monthly inventory for all CW owned Events equipment and communicate timely when equipment needs to be replaced.
Leadership:
● Foster a positive company culture and maintain a professional workforce
● Oversee staff training and development, ensuring all Operations Managers are conducting performance evaluations and disciplinary actions as needed
● Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment for Operations Management that prioritizes hospitality and guest satisfaction.
● Ensure a safe working environment and proper incident reporting
● Handle recruitment, onboarding, and personnel issues in partnership with the Operations Service Director, Director of Operations, HR, and Regional Sales Director
Hiring and Training:
● Maintain training documents and monitor new hire training
● Ensure ongoing training for new and existing staff and coordinate new menu training with the Chef
● Review new hire paperwork and company policies with new employees
Financial Responsibilities:
● ● Accountable for Events PnL CoGs, C&D Inventory and expenses, and labor.
● ● Accountable for Events payroll accuracy
● ● Work in partnership with Culinary and Beverage departments in monitoring and improving COGS
● ● Produce Labor reports to improve expenses and review monthly budget and P&L statements
Administration:
● ● Approve all P57 Events schedules.
● ● Complete all administrative tasks including timely responses to emails, developing training materials and initiatives,
● and overseeing admin of CAFs for the team.
● ● Oversee payroll administration and personnel communication regarding benefits in partnership with HR
● ● Ensure accurate reporting and system entries
Minimum Qualifications
● 5+ years of experience in a high-volume restaurant, venue, or similar setting
● Proven leadership and commitment to excellence
● Strong financial and business acumen
● Passion for hospitality, food, wine, and music
● Ability to multitask and manage projects in a fast-paced environment
● Strong mentoring, training, and accountability skills
● Detail-oriented with strong execution skills
