General Manager - Live-in available 

Are you a passionate and creative General Manager looking for your next challenge? We are looking for a General Manager to lead The Coach & Horses in Isleworth — a historic pub with bags of character, a loyal local following and huge potential for its next chapter. First opened in 1897, The Coach & Horses is a much-loved part of the Isleworth community and has been serving locals and visitors for generations (not to mention, even getting a nod from Charles Dickens in Oliver Twist).

You will have a fantastic pub to make your own, with open fires and cosy spaces. There is also plenty of space to work with, including our restaurant, lounge, coaching inn, and fantastic beer garden, all of which can be used for private parties, celebrations and corporate events. With a loyal customer base, strong local footfall and increased trade from nearby sports grounds close to Isleworth, there is also a great platform from which to grow the business. 

You will lead an established team, supported by a strong kitchen brigade serving fresh, British-sourced food and much-loved Sunday roasts. Most importantly, as General Manager you will have the freedom to put your own stamp on The Coach & Horses, from food and drink to events, décor and the overall guest experience.

Running a Pub for Young's:

We believe pubs should be differentiated and individual and so we are looking for entrepreneurial General Managers to put their own stamp on our businesses. We're all about freedom within a framework - you decide what goes on the food menu - and that doesn't mean picking from a bank of recipes! You tailor your offer to your guests and grow the business in line with your business vision!  You decide what events and sales driving to do, what the team uniform is, and look after all your own recruitment and marketing.  If you are a people-focused Pub General Manager with fresh food experience, then we want to hear from you.
