Field Care Supervisor / Team Leader – Community Care
Full Time, Permanent Position
From £19,500 + £1,500 annual duty enhancement for weekend and evening on-call

What are we looking for?
A Team Leader who will support the wider community care team with existing knowledge, skills and enthusiasm. You have must be self-motivated, ensuring the quality of care provided is consistent with current legislation liaising with local authorities as well as health and other professionals. You will be working within a fast paced, rapidly growing company and we are looking for a Team Leader who wants to continue their career and develop professionally with us. What does the job look like?

  • Managing your team to deliver the highest standards of support, with direct line management and support from the
  • Care Manager
  • Carrying out spot checks, competencies and auditing with a keen eye for detail
  • Assessing and writing care plans, leasing directly with clients, their families and other associated stakeholders
  • Working proactively to help the business achieve its growth aspirations

The essentials for our Team Leader:
  • You will be fearless and not afraid of a challenge
  • Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) and prepared to progress to Level 3 (this is essential)
  • Utilising your knowledge to upskill the community team and help them become the best they can be
  • You will have a natural sense of empathy with others who need support along with bucket loads of common sense.
  • You will have an easy-going personality and are tolerant of others who may display behavior that can challenges
  • You are able to thrive under pressure
  • You are a committed self-starter and have great organisational skills and ability to think outside the box
  • Car driver with access to your own vehicle
  • Be punctual, reliable and have the ability to think quickly and effectively
  • Be a clear communicator who can build rapport with both clients and staff with ease

As we provide 24/7 support, you will work on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern - 10 hour shifts either 7am to 5pm or 12pm to 10am including weekends and bank holidays.
