The Constitution is a much-loved Camden pub with history, character, and a killer canal-side spot. After a major refurb, we’re firmly back on the map—and now we’re looking for a Head Chef to take full control of the kitchen and deliver consistently excellent food.
This is a pub that does the classics properly—fresh, seasonal, and premium-led. From fish & chips to stacked Sunday roasts, and corporate buffets that need to land every time, the focus here is on quality and consistency, not over-complication.
What we’re looking for:
An experienced Head Chef who can lead a fast-paced kitchen and deliver under pressure.
A hands-on operator who takes pride in well-run service and confident cooking.
Someone who understands what a great pub menu looks like—simple, fresh, and well-executed.
Strong leadership, team development, and cost control skills.
Solid knowledge of kitchen safety, allergens and compliance—kept tight and well-managed.
What we’re offering:
Full ownership of the kitchen—menus, team, delivery.
Salary up to £45K + service charge (DOE).
A standout pub with a loyal local following and regular corporate trade.
