The Role

We’re looking for Head Waiters / Head Waitresses to join Cubitt House.

As a Head Waiter / Head Waitress, you’ll be a key leader on the floor, delivering warm, attentive, and professional service to every guest while supporting the management team in driving exceptional service standards. You’ll help create memorable dining experiences, leading by example to ensure each visit exceeds expectations and reflects our commitment to hospitality excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver friendly, efficient, and professional service to all guests.

Lead and support the front-of-house team throughout service.

Take orders, serve food and drinks, and ensure accurate billing.

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service areas.

Collaborate with managers and kitchen teams to ensure seamless service throughout the shift.

Assist with stock management, table settings, and preparation as needed.

Support the training and development of junior team members.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Support colleagues and contribute to a positive, welcoming atmosphere.

Skills & Experience

Previous experience in a similar front-of-house hospitality role is essential.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Friendly, approachable, and professional attitude.

Passion for delivering excellent customer service and guest experiences.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Confidence leading a section and supporting wider team operations.

Full eligibility to work in the UK.
