We are looking for a talented and ambitious Senior Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at Cubitt House.
As a Senior Chef de Partie, you will play a key role within the brigade, taking full ownership of your section while supporting the Sous Chef and Head Chef in delivering consistently exceptional food and kitchen standards. You will lead by example during service, mentor junior chefs, and contribute to the continued evolution of our seasonal British menus.
This is an exciting opportunity for a strong CDP ready to step up in a quality-driven, fast-paced kitchen focused on fresh, seasonal, and sustainably sourced ingredients.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and run your section with confidence, consistency, and attention to detail.
Deliver exceptional dishes in line with Cubitt House standards and presentation.
Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef with daily kitchen operations and service management.
Train, mentor, and motivate junior chefs and commis chefs.
Ensure prep, mise en place, and service are executed efficiently and professionally.
Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, food safety, and organisation.
Work closely with the senior team on menu development, seasonal specials, and creative input.
Help drive a positive, professional, and collaborative kitchen culture.
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a quality-led kitchen; previous Senior CDP experience is advantageous.
Strong understanding of classical cooking techniques and seasonal British cuisine.
Experience leading a section in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Ability to support and develop junior team members.
Calm under pressure with excellent organisational skills.
Passion for fresh produce, craftsmanship, and hospitality.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to grow.
