Yes? Yes? And Yes? This position may be for you! Wafels & Dinges is a legendary NYC Street Food company that inspires countless happy customers to choose our authentic Belgian "wafels" & "dinges" over pancakes (our nemesis!)
Right now, we are hiring Team Leaders to help run the team that operates our famous yellow Food Trucks. You will receive training to drive our food trucks, operate them, bake the best waffles and serve the most fun customers.
Are we a MATCH made in WAFEL HEAVEN??
- YOU are a straight shooter. YOU have a record of integrity and reliability. You’re not much into job-hopping and you’re looking for a professional home where you can thrive as part of a stable team.
- YOU have at least 3 years of driving experience, including 1 year of frequent driving in NYC and the Tri-state. You keep your cool behind the wheel. You’re a “Safety First” type of driver. You understand defensive driving. You have a Valid & Clean Driver License.
- YOU are an extrovert, a great communicator, flexible, engaging, and are known around the world for your quirky sense of humor.
- YOU are interested in becoming an excellent leader that knows how to inspire and motivate people. You always set an example and are great in empowering a team. You have a passion helping a company and team grow forward.
- YOU are looking for more than just a "job" where you punch hours. You want to belong to something that's worth of your time, and get paid fairly for your work and effort as well.

- One week of paid sick leave. After 6 months: One week of paid vacation
- WE offer an incentive BONUS program based on the your sales performance, in addition to your hourly wages and tips.
- WE offer access to FREE basic healthcare
