We’re on the hunt for a Head Chef to lead the kitchen at The Dog & Fox — someone who can inspire a team, keep standards high, and still enjoy the buzz of a busy service.
You’ll be reporting directly to Holly, our Executive Chef, who sets the culinary direction across the business. Holly brings the big-picture food vision — you’ll bring it to life day to day in your kitchen.
What You’ll Be Doing

Leading from the front (and occasionally from the pass when things get lively)

Delivering fresh, seasonal menus with strong margins

Training, mentoring and building a solid, happy brigade

Managing stock, suppliers and keeping waste tight

Owning kitchen compliance and food safety

Keeping service smooth, standards high, and stress levels sensible
What We’re Looking For

Experience as a Head Chef or strong Senior Sous ready to step up

Solid understanding of GP, labour control and kitchen performance

Someone organised, reliable and calm under pressure

A team builder — not a shouter

A genuine love for great pub food done properly
