The Dog & Fox is an iconic pub and hotel in the heart of Wimbledon Village. We are an established events venue, pub, dining serving a premium collection of draught & craft beers, local London spirits and fine wines. We offer the best in seasonal, fresh, British produce for our menu and have 25 exquisite bedrooms above in our boutique hotel. Just a 10-minute walk from Wimbledon train station and on several bus routes we are easy to reach and busy all year long. With Wimbledon Tennis Championships in the summer and Christmas functions throughout the winter there is never a boring moment at the Dog & Fox Hotel!  For two glorious weeks every year, Wimbledon takes over the nation. Strawberries disappear at alarming rates, everyone suddenly becomes a tennis expert, and at the Dog & Fox… things get wonderfully busy.

We’re looking for energetic, friendly, and mildly chaos-resistant temp staff to join our team for the Wimbledon season on a 3–4 week temporary contract.

• Serving drinks faster than a Centre Court rally
• Keeping guests happy, fed, and hydrated
• Working with a fun, fast-paced team
• Smiling through the “Can we get the tennis on this TV too?” requests
• Helping create the best pub atmosphere this side of SW19

• Experience behind a bar or on the floor is ideal (but personality counts for a lot)
• Someone who can stay calm when the Pimm’s orders start flying in
• Good energy, reliability, and a sense of humour
• Weekend and evening availability
• Team players — no racquet smashing allowed
• Over 18 only

• Competitive hourly pay
• A genuinely fun working atmosphere
• Staff food on shift
• The right to say “I survived Wimbledon” for the rest of the summer

Temporary contract for approximately 3–4 weeks covering the Wimbledon period and surrounding busy weeks.

You may leave with:

• excellent tray-carrying skills,
• an irrational hatred of empty glasses,
• and strong opinions about tennis players you’d never heard of before June.
