Chef De Partie

A unique pub situated on the Exeter canal, 15 mins walk from the quayside and now 5 minutes from Marsh Barton train station. The pub has one of the largest beer gardens in the south with over 1000 outdoor spaces. We host various events and functions that cater from 100 to our busiest one of the year hijacking 4000 people. With outdoor bars and BBQs, no week is ever the same at the double locks. In the winter was a lovely traditional pub with log fires and lots of dogs.

Seasonal Chef de Partie (Weekend Work – Summer Period)

We’re looking for a skilled and dependable Chef de Partie to join our team for the summer season, working weekends in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Working days: Friday, Saturday & Sunday
Contract: Seasonal (summer period)

Responsibilities:

  • Running your section efficiently during service
  • Assisting with prep and ensuring high food standards
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of your station
  • Supporting the team to deliver smooth, consistent service

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis ready to step up
  • Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
  • Reliable and available every weekend
  • Passion for quality food and attention to detail
