Sous Chef

About us:

We’re looking for a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment, serving over 200 guests daily during the busy summer season.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience working as a Sous Chef and thrive under pressure while maintaining exceptional food quality and consistency. You should have a strong background in preparing pub classics, with a focus on using fresh, seasonal ingredients.

Key responsibilities include overseeing daily kitchen operations, supporting the Head Chef, managing prep and service, and ensuring high standards of food safety and presentation at all times.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen
  • Strong knowledge of British pub-style cuisine and seasonal menu development
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Passion for quality ingredients and well-executed dishes

This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic and rewarding kitchen
