General Manager - Live in, Up to 55k.

We’re looking for a General Manager for the Duke’s Head in Putney – a multi- faceted pub that’s set over 3 floors on the banks of the Thames in Putney – a well-known pub with plenty of room to grow sales and add your stamp to the business.

Stepping in from the street, the ground floor features a gorgeous traditional bar slap-bang in the centre of the room, and a well sized dining room overlooking the river.  Downstairs, by the Waterside, sits the Rowing Club – which has speakeasy vibes and is perfect for a cocktail on date night, or for private hire parties.   Upstairs you’ll find the Wolsey Dining Room – often used for Weddings, celebrations and other events – all with a stunning view.  

The perfect candidate is a General Manager who has experience delivering a premium fresh food offer, managing complex sites and growing sales.   A fantastic opportunity for a fantastic General Manager. 

Running a Pub for Young's:

We believe pubs should be differentiated and individual and so we are looking for entrepreneurial General Managers to put their own stamp on our businesses. We're all about freedom within a framework - you decide what goes on the food menu - and that doesn't mean picking from a bank of recipes! You tailor your offer to your guests and grow the business in line with your business vision!  You decide what events and sales driving to do, what the team uniform is, and look after all your own recruitment and marketing.  If you are a people-focused Pub General Manager with fresh food experience, then we want to hear from you.
