Job Description: Responsible for using computer software to create electronic versions of Eataly company materials to be used in online media. The Graphic Designer will work to define the e-commerce design needs of Eataly and will create and execute design strategies to fulfill those needs, while also expanding each user’s shopping experience by analyzing our website’s conversion rate. Along with the E-Commerce Manager, he or she will be responsible for managing the design creation of Eataly’s online presence, with the goal of acquiring more advanced recognition in the market, promoting products and establishing leadership throughout the food industry. Will work as an integrated member of our corporate office teams to creatively promote Eataly and its products and services.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Creates electronic versions of Eataly company materials to be used in distribution as needed. The main focus is the creation of newsletters and online campaigns according to the commercial schedule of the online team.
Identifies Eataly’s electronic graphic design needs and executes design strategies to fulfill those needs; analyzes conversion rate of website shoppers in order to creatively improve each Eataly shopper’s experience.
Updates website design, maintains current website features and creates new signage to support the e-commerce market and its products and services.
Helps to expand knowledge within the industry by establishing new and current business exposure.
Requirements and skills:
At least 2 years of progressively more responsible Graphic and Website Design experience is required.
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design, Marketing, or related field is required.
Must have advanced computer, graphic design, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft suite knowledge.
Must have the ability to communicate with a variety of industry leaders and peers.
