Food & Beverage Supervisor (Maternity Cover)

Location: Eden Hall Day Spa, Nottinghamshire

Fixed-Term Contract (Maternity Cover)

About Us

Welcome to Eden Hall Day Spa, an award-winning luxury retreat set in the stunning Nottinghamshire countryside. We’re known for our serene atmosphere, exceptional spa treatments, and unforgettable guest experiences — and our food and beverage offering is no exception.

At Barons Eden, we hire for passion, positivity, and potential. We’re proud to nurture talent, encourage development, and create a warm, supportive team culture where everyone feels valued.

The Opportunity

Do you thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment and have a knack for leading a team to deliver outstanding service?

We’re looking for a hands-on, guest-focused Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our friendly team on a maternity cover contract. Working closely with our Food & Beverage Manager and Assistant Manager, you’ll help oversee the smooth running of our dining outlets — from our elegant restaurant to our relaxed Vinery.

You’ll play a key role in motivating and developing your team, maintaining impeccable service standards, and making sure every guest leaves with a smile.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Support the day-to-day running of all food and beverage areas to deliver exceptional guest experiences

  • Lead, coach, and develop team members through on-the-job training and regular feedback

  • Ensure consistent adherence to Standard Operating Procedures, hygiene standards, and health & safety regulations

  • Manage service quality, from table presentation to upselling specials

  • Assist with stock control, cost management, and payroll monitoring

  • Take the lead in the absence of the F&B Manager/Assistant Manager

  • Promote a positive, supportive, and inclusive workplace culture

What You’ll Bring

Essential:

  • Previous supervisory experience in a hospitality setting

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

  • A proactive, service-driven approach

  • A genuine passion for food, drink, and creating memorable guest moments

Why Join Us?

  • Work in a beautiful, historic spa environment focused on wellbeing and excellence

  • Complimentary use of our luxury spa and leisure facilities

  • Free daily lunch from our staff canteen

  • Complimentary Spa Day on your work anniversary

  • Discounts on overnight stays, spa days, food, drink, and retail

  • Company pension contributions

  • Employee Assistance Programme

  • Free on-site parking

  • Comprehensive induction and training

  • Opportunities for development within the wider Barons Eden group

Further Information:

Full-Time Temporary Contract | 40 hours per week | 5 days over 7 (can include evenings, weekends and bank holidays)

Shifts are typically 7.5 hours and may start as early as 7:00am or finish as late as 10:30pm.

People say you can’t choose your family – well, we choose you to be part of ours.
