Receptionist

Location: Eden Hall Day Spa, Nottinghamshire
Salary: £12.21 per hour
Full-time | 37.5 hours per week (weekdays, evenings & weekends on a rolling rota)

As a Receptionist at Eden Hall, you'll be at the heart of the guest experience offering a warm welcome on arrival a fond farewell at the end of the day. You'll play a vital role in ensuring every visit is seamless, enjoyable, and memorable, helping create the kind of experience that brings guests back again and again.

Role Specification:

  • Provide a warm welcome to guests, members and visitors to site, ensuring a smooth check-in process
  • Manage check-out procedures including accurate billing and payment collection
  • Carry out comprehensive administrative duties, following procedures accurately to assist in the efficient day-to-day running of the spa
  • Answer all phone calls and emails professionally, efficiently, and in a friendly manner, dealing with enquiries and ensuring prompt follow-up/conclusion
  • Provide information about the spa facilities, services, and policies
  • Maintain a polite and thorough demeanour, ensuring all relevant information is received and provided to guests
  • Promote additional services and experiences, helping guests get the most out of their visit

Your skills and expertise:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and a passion for creating outstanding guest experiences
  • Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to upsell and promote additional services
  • Confident use of IT and software systems (training on our own systems will be provided)
  • Previous experience in hospitality, front of house, or customer service (preferred but not essential)

Additional Information:

  • 5 days/ evenings a week
  • You would be expected to work alternative weekends within this role
  • Typical shift patterns:
    • 11.15am - 7.15pm
    • 2.30pm - 10.30pm
