We are now recruiting for General Manager position for our opening store in SHOREDITCH!

Eggslut is a chef driven, gourmet food concept founded in Los Angeles in 2011. It’s inspired by a true love for eggs. The menu is a balance of comfort and innovation, celebrating food that appeals to both novice and extreme foodie through classic comfort fare with a twist. All-encompassing our key ingredient, eggs.

In August 2019 we opened the first restaurant in Europe – London, PORTOBELLO ROAD. In July 2020 we opened FITZROVIA store and now preparing the grand opening of SHOREDITCH.
We are looking for the most excited candidates to join this exiting project!

As a General Manager you will be working alongside the Directors and be fully responsible for the day to day management of our brand-new store, ensuring the service and the standards match with the brand! You will also become a brand ambassador motivating the teams on daily basis leading them by example.  You will provide the necessary guidance to the all team ensuring that all standards are consistently followed and both our guests and staff, have the best experience.

 Core responsibilities

  • You will orientate the operation accordingly with company objectives and development plans, and support the directors in executing the PNL in place
  • Being hands on, whenever possible in all parts of the business and share best the practice amongst the team
  • Have Health & Safety and Food Safety knowledge to conduct internal audits and ensure all procedures are followed
  • Leading stocktaking and management of stock control
  • Be the head of recruitment, training and coach team members so they are equipped to perform at their best
  • Strong on the marketing front, and support enforcing brand standards in regards to our customer service requirements

 Essential Skills and Attributes

  • Be a People’s person with strong team leadership experience,
  • Ability to motivate and be a team builder and developer;
  • Organised and creative with excellent attention to detail;
  • Be an excellent communicator and have customer service profile is a must
  • Passionate about food, and hospitality industry
  • Warm, personable and professional nature and works calmly and efficiently under pressure
  • Ability to manage staff costs and review rotas accordingly;
  • Knowledge of basic in PNL analysis
  • Prior experience as an Assistant Manager or Restaurant Manager will be considered
