Set in the beautiful Ribble Valley, Longridge House brings together the warmth of a country house with thoughtful touches of luxury. From cosy overnight stays to weddings and special celebrations, we want every guest to feel at home and well looked after.
We’re looking for a hands-on, guest-focused Deputy Manager who shares that approach to hospitality. You’ll help lead our events, food and beverage, and hotel operations, bringing warmth, organisation and an eye for detail to everything you do.
The role
Working closely with the General Manager, you will:
Oversee daily operations across the hotel, events, and food and beverage.
Lead weddings and private events, from preparation through to delivery.
Support reception, housekeeping and restaurant teams to create a welcoming, seamless guest experience.
Manage daily administration, ensuring bookings, event details and guest requirements are accurate and communicated clearly.
Lead shifts, support team training and maintain high standards throughout the venue.
Handle guest enquiries and resolve issues professionally.
Take responsibility for the venue in the General Manager’s absence.
About you
You’ll have management or supervisory experience in a premium/ boutique hotel or events venue, with previous experience delivering weddings essential. You’ll be confident leading the team through a wedding day, coordinating timings and making sure every detail is taken care of for the couple and their guests.
Guest-focused, approachable and highly organised, you’ll be comfortable balancing hands-on service with planning and daily administration. Previous experience in hotel administration and booking systems is preferred.
We’re looking for a practical team leader who takes ownership and cares about the little details that make every stay and celebration special.
The role includes evenings and weekends, with working days planned around the hotel and events calendar.
