Job Description: The Bartender is responsible for providing an excellent dining experience to guests of both our Cinema and The Grille, preparing drink orders, explaining our concept to newcomers, knowledgeably guiding our guests through our menu offerings, demonstrating salesmanship and dedication to guest satisfaction. The Bartender is also responsible for presenting a clean, stocked, organized and visually appealing bar to our guests.
Job Purpose: To ensure guest satisfaction during their dining experience, by providing genuine hospitality and maintaining a clean and safe dining space for guests to enjoy.

Job Tasks:
• Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and provide excellent guest experiences
• Bussing and pre-bussing, ensuring vacant bar seats are cleaned and reset within 3 minutes of guest departure
• Preparing alcoholic beverages as dictated in written recipes, for both Cinema and Grille guests
• Maintaining a Spill Sheet as necessary
• Serve both bar guests and Grille guests as directed
• Inform guests of any Limited Time Offers or promotions (BOGO Pizza Monday, Wine Wednesday, Trivia Night, Happy Hour, etc)
• Fluency in all food and beverage menus with knowledge of allergies and aversions
• Walking new guests through our dining concept with concise explanation
• Accurately and concisely ringing in orders, ensuring modifications are as requested
• Timing orders and courses throughout the dining experience, helping to prevent unnecessary back up in BOH and promoting additional guest purchases
• Maintain guest interaction with filling of beverages, waters, and popcorn
• Create and sustain regulars with focus on building rapport
• Understand and communicate with managers regarding guest experience to repair any damaged guest experiences
• Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, and Federal/State/Local laws
• Ensure alcoholic beverages are served only to guests over the age of 21 and monitor guest consumption
• Ensure bar operations are running smoothly by completing all “Jolt” checklists and assigned side-work in a timely manner
• Pro-active in getting things done and exceeding expectations of both guests and team members
• Safely handling food, and maintaining general cleanliness of The Bar & Grille
• Restocking glasses and product, prepping juices and cut fruits, changing kegs as necessary
• Properly washing all bar equipment, ensuring the bar dishwasher is put together, with proper chemicals stocked and functioning properly throughout the shift
• Maintain a positive, friendly demeanor throughout the entirety of shift
• Comply to all manager requests for any cleaning tasks or other duties
• Complete training programs and attend classes as directed
• Demonstrating flexibility and willingness to perform tasks outside of an assigned position
• Upholding our Guest Contract

• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 35lbs.
