Description

Stamford Bridge Hotel is seeking a Demi Chef de Partie to play a key role in managing the preparation and service within the hotel restaurant kitchen. 

You will report to the Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, Head Chef working towards running a specific section or station, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of that area, providing our guests with a memorable dining experience.

As Demi Chef de Partie you will be responsible for:

  • Organising food preparation according to the business
  • Assisting with chopping, washing, preparing ingredients, and assembling dishes according to recipes and specifications
  • Knowledge on managing and training commis chef’s/ apprentice
  • Assisting and maintaining the health and safety standard in the kitchen
  • Assisting and maintaining food hygiene standard
  • Preparing, cooking, and presenting according to the quality standard
  • Overseeing and managing a specific section of the kitchen under the direction of the Chef de Partie, Head Chef, ensuring it's organised and ready for service

To be successful in the role of Food and Beverage Supervisor we require:

  • Preparing, cooking, and presenting good quality dishes
  • Level 2 NVQ food and preparation diploma or equivalent
  • Food safety level 2
  • Confirmed knowledge of COSHH
  • 2 year’s experience working in a similar position
