Temple Bar Hotel Dublin is seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our culinary team at our vibrant four-star property, located in the heart of the city. The hotel operates two exciting venues — Buskers Bar and Buskers On The Ball — offering a dynamic and fast-paced food and beverage environment that celebrates quality, innovation, and exceptional guest experiences.

Reporting to the Head Chef and Sous Chef, you will take responsibility for managing the cleanliness of the kitchen area.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Operating the dishwasher to ensure cleanliness of pots, pans and other kitchen utensils as well as crockery, glasses and cutlery in line with health & safety regulations and standards. 

·       Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipments and ensuring cleanliness of whole kitchen and storage areas. 

·       Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, organisation, and hygiene in kitchen in line with HACCP requirements.

·       Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety, Fire, and Food Safety regulations.

·       Maintain a positive, professional, and collaborative working relationship with kitchen and Food & Beverage teams.

Requirements:

•           Previous experience as a Kitchen porter or in a similar role is advantageous.

•           Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.

•           Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices (HACCP certification preferred).

•           Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

•           Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
