The Role
We are looking for an HR Coordinator to join our growing HR team. This is a work-from-home position based in Omaha, Nebraska, supporting HR operations across all Freedom Enterprises locations. While the role is fully remote, occasional travel (1–2 times per year) to our Overland Park, Kansas office may be required for team collaboration or training.

The HR Coordinator will provide critical administrative support, helping ensure timely and accurate execution of recruiting, onboarding, HR system tasks, and reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career HR professional who is organized, proactive, and eager to grow in Human Resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Post and maintain job openings for leadership and barista positions

  • Review resumes and coordinate interviews with hiring managers

  • Send new hire paperwork and assist with onboarding processes

  • Submit background checks and follow up on onboarding issues

  • Correct E-Verify cases and assist with compliance follow-up

  • Maintain the Barista Hiring Tracker and monitor applicant activity

  • Triage incoming HR requests and route questions to the appropriate team member

  • Assist with PTO tracking and reporting

  • Run weekly and monthly HR reports from HR systems

  • Book hotel accommodations for HR travel as needed

  • Maintain HR tracking spreadsheets, including turnover and hiring metrics

  • Support HR projects and administrative initiatives as assigned



Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred

  • 0–2 years of administrative or HR-related experience

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
    Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office tools

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
