Description

At Flat Iron, we're all about remarkable steaks, accessible to everyone, and driven by passionate people who love what they do. This philosophy is at the core of who we are, where we've come from, and where we're dedicated to staying.

Exciting times lie ahead for Flat Iron as we continue to grow. Our key to sustained growth is retaining happy, developing and engaged teams. People are the heart of our operation, and finding exceptional people who share our values is one of the most important things we do.

As part of this commitment, we're looking for a Talent Advisor to join our People Team. This is an opportunity to shape how we attract, engage and hire exceptional operational leaders across our London restaurants, while helping us build the talent pipelines and succession plans that support our future growth.

What we offer you:

  • Flat Iron Silver Card – free steak for all!
  • Beef Bank – a digital reward card
  • 30 days holiday allowance (excluding Bank Holidays)
  • Enhanced Maternity, Paternity and Adoption Leave
  • Medicash – get money back on routine health expenses
  • Cycle to Work scheme
  • And more!

We are looking for:

  • Experience managing end-to-end recruitment within a fast-paced, multi-site business
  • A passion for hospitality and finding exceptional people
  • Someone who is naturally curious and always looking for better ways to recruit
  • A strategic thinker who enjoys building talent pipelines and planning ahead
  • Confidence to coach, influence and challenge hiring managers
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to use recruitment data and market insight to support hiring decisions
  • A proactive, organised approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience using ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing channels

Here's what you'll get up to:

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for management roles across our London restaurants, partnering closely with Operations Managers and the wider People Team to deliver a seamless and remarkable candidate experience from application through to offer.
  • Build proactive talent pipelines and succession plans that ensure we're always one step ahead of our hiring needs. Develop relationships with future talent, identify recruitment risks before they become challenges and keep up to date with market trends to strengthen our attraction strategy.
  • Partner with General Managers, Head Chefs and Operations Managers to support hiring decisions, providing coaching, challenge and recruitment expertise while using data and market insight to influence workforce planning and recruitment strategy.
  • Continuously look for ways to improve how we recruit. Whether that's introducing new sourcing methods, improving candidate experience, refining recruitment processes or supporting wider People Team projects, you'll help shape the future of recruitment at Flat Iron.
  • We believe in maintaining a healthy work-life balance whilst staying connected to our restaurants and teams. This role will involve regular travel across our London restaurants, with occasional support for new openings and wider business projects where required.
