Description

At Flat Iron, we're all about remarkable steaks, accessible to everyone, and driven by passionate people who love what they do. This philosophy is at the core of who we are, where we've come from, and where we're dedicated to staying.

Exciting times lie ahead for Flat Iron as we continue to grow. Great steak doesn’t just happen. Behind every steak we serve is a beef supply chain that needs to run brilliantly and that’s where you come in.

We’re looking for a Beef Co-Ordinator to join our growing Beef Team and help keep the steaks flowing into our restaurants.

This is a varied, fast-paced role for someone who loves being organised, getting into the detail and making things happen. You’ll work closely with our Beef Lead, restaurant teams, suppliers, Supply Chain and Finance, becoming a key part of how we manage our beef from supplier through to restaurant.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Supporting our Beef Lead with beef volumes and allocations, making sure our partner butchers have the right volumes and specifications.
  • Being a go-to person for our restaurants, helping with steak quality queries, returns, credits, shortages and substitutions.
  • Keeping everyone in the loop on steak volumes, forecasts and anything else our restaurant teams need to know.
  • Tracking credits throughout the beef supply chain and making sure nothing gets missed.
  • Pulling together data to support forecasting and planning.
  • Keeping supplier information, pricing and changes accurate and up to date.
  • Managing product set-up and new restaurant opening schedules through our systems.
  • Helping us improve how we work by supporting new systems, processes and ways of doing things.
  • Getting involved in some areas of procurement as you grow into the role.
What we’re looking for:
  • Have a seriously good eye for detail.
  • Are naturally organised and comfortable juggling different priorities.
  • Like solving problems rather than waiting for someone else to fix them.
  • Communicate clearly and enjoy building relationships with different people.
  • Are confident working independently and taking ownership.
  • Enjoy working with data and are comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Can adapt when things change – because in a growing business, they will.
  • Are always looking for ways to make things work better.
  • Enjoy being part of a team but don’t need your hand held to get things done.
Our commitment…

We celebrate differences and welcome people from all walks of life, each bringing their own unique story. At Flat Iron, it’s not just about fitting in, it’s about standing out and being proud of who you are. If you need any adjustments during your application journey, just let us know, we’re here to help.
