An excellent opportunity has arisen to join our fantastic Conference & Events and our Food & Beverage teams as an Assistant Event Manager.
This role is a hands-on, operational role overseeing the seamless execution of conferences, restaurant and bar operations, and social golf group events during weekends. This role ensures exceptional customer experiences, efficient event execution, and smooth food and beverage service within all areas of responsibility. The Assistant C&E Manager will work closely with other Assistant Managers in the venue, supporting the F&B Manager and C&E Manager in running their respective departments efficiently. This role requires strong leadership, multi-tasking abilities, and a proactive approach to managing day-to-day operations.
What we’re looking for…
• The ability to engage and motivate team the team
• Excellent communication skills to all customers, including team members
• The ability to ensure employee's are comfortable in their work environment and trained to the highest standard
• Flexibility to work on a rota basis across seven days a week
• The ability to think on your feet, respond quickly and problem solve effectively
• To be a visible presence on the floor and lead from the front to set an example
• The ability to complete tasks efficiently and in timely manner
