Description

Founders Table is seeking a highly skilled Regional Catering Sales Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving corporate sales growth for Founders Table. Your duties will include generating leads, prospecting, and cold-calling new B2B clients for Catering and Chopt Drop. You will also play a key role in devising strategies to engage and convert new leads effectively.

 

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of corporate catering sales in Manhattan, is well-versed in the operations of restaurants, and demonstrates a combination of business acumen and technical expertise. They should have a proven track record of using data to inform and guide their decision-making processes.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

●      Develop sales for both restaurant concepts (Chopt & Dos Toros) through a targeted plan.

●      Proactively seek and engage new B2B leads through prospecting and cold calling, while crafting effective engagement strategies.

●      Secure new catering customers utilizing a mix of traditional and non-traditional sales methods, including cold calling, direct outside sales, and relationship building.

●      Efficiently manage a substantial pipeline of leads to maximize opportunities for new business.

●      Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing customers.

●      Reconnect with existing and previous customers to assess changes in their catering needs and establish relationships that drive future catering sales.

●      Cultivate a collaborative atmosphere with operations as sales volumes rise.

●      Devote time to understanding customer needs in catering and propose innovative solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

●      Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

●      2-3 years of experience in an Account Executive or Catering role in New York.

●      Demonstrated history of exceeding sales targets.

●      Proficiency in cold calling and delivering compelling sales presentations.

●      Strong problem-solving skills.

●      Ideally, based in New York, with the capacity to conduct in-person visits to local businesses when necessary.

●      Exhibits a professional presence, adapts messaging and approach to the audience, and communicates effectively with a diverse range of individuals.

●      Effective cross-functional communication abilities.

●      Possesses a unique blend of business acumen and technical expertise.

●      Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

●      Self-driven and capable of working independently.

●      Keen attention to detail.

●      In-depth knowledge of local/regional corporate sales opportunities and a track record of successfully engaging key decision-makers.

●      Proficiency in utilizing and optimizing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.

Base salary - $70-$80K plus commission
