Our Doorman / Security team member serves as the primary point of contact and first line of defense for our venue. The role is a unique hybrid of hospitality and security, requiring a balance between a welcoming demeanor and constant vigilance.
Core Responsibilities- Access Control: Monitor entry and exit points to ensure only authorized guests enter the premises.
- Guest Services: Greet people professionally, open doors, check i.d.'s
- Security Monitoring: Stop outside food & beverage, report suspicious activity to management, and conduct regular patrols of the lobby and perimeter.
- Safety & Emergency Response: Enforce fire safety protocols and manage evacuations if necessary.
- Conflict Resolution: Diffuse confrontations, manage loiterers, and handle unruly behavior with professionalism and discretion.
Key Skills & Qualifications- Education: high school diploma or equivalent.
- Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication and customer service abilities are vital.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand or walk for long shifts and lift items up to 50 lbs.
- Vigilance: Keen observational skills to identify potential security threats or issues.
