Description
Gato is Chef Bobby Flay’s expression of Mediterranean food, drink and design. Gato combines its roots in NYC with a European sensibility and has a casual approach, a bustling environment and a dedicated passion to cuisine.

The Server is one of the primary contacts with our guests and as such, must maintain a friendly and attentive demeanor, is hospitality-oriented, passionate about food, an excellent communicator and detail oriented.

Skills, Duties and Essential Functions:

• 2 plus years restaurant experience
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Fast paced, fine dining experience
• Provide the highest quality service to guests at all times
• Setting up and breaking down the room / station
• Creating memorable experiences by way of genuine hospitality
• Ordering and delivering drinks
• Record orders, place accurate orders and monitor the timing of the dining experience
• Run food as needed and with team spirit
• Insure quality food and beverages for your Guests
• Up-sell and suggestive sell at every opportunity
• Presenting checks to clients and collect payment
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage menus
• Knowledge of dietary concerns, safe alcohol serving and allergens
• Maintain sanitation procedures and organization of work area
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays
• Knowledge of POS
• Interpersonal communication skills

• Dependable and reliable
• Ability to thrive in fast paced environment
