The Social Media & Content Manager will lead the day-to-day social media management for Gordon Ramsay Restaurants' US-based brands and contribute to global brand activity with a local lens. Working in close alignment with both global and US marketing teams, this role will drive content creation, community growth, and influencer partnerships while ensuring brand consistency and platform excellence across channels.
You’ll bring a sharp understanding of social trends and audience behavior to deliver culturally relevant content and help localize global brand stories for the US market.
Key Accountabilities
Content Management
· Develop briefs and manage content creation for US-only restaurant brands (e.g. Ramsay’s Kitchen, GR Fish & Chips).
· Localize content for global brands with US presence (e.g. Lucky Cat, Street Pizza).
· Brief, manage and review content created via local production partners and/or Hive Minds.
· Ensure all content aligns with brand tone of voice and visual identity.
· Capturing and editing content for new menu launches, limited time offers, and special promotions.
Channel Management
· Own the US social media calendar for US-only brands.
· Publish content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other key platforms.
· Track and analyze performance, feeding insights into weekly and monthly global reporting.
· Maintain alignment with global content cadence.
Community Management
· Monitor and engage with the US social media audience in brand tone.
· Respond to comments, DMs and mentions, escalating service issues where needed.
· Contribute to a positive and distinctive brand presence online.
Culinary Photography and Videography
· Capturing and editing culinary focused photography for new menu launches, limited time offers, and special promotions.
· Capturing video content for culinary learning and development purposes.
Influencer and Partnership Support
· Manage the US influencer program, including outreach and content partnerships.
· Work with the global team and TAA to identify and support brand-appropriate collaborations.
· Track impact and performance of influencer content across channels.
Collaboration & Integration
· Partner closely with the US Marketing Director and restaurant teams for on-the-ground alignment
· Fully integrate into the global Social & Content team’s ways of working (Slack, reporting, WIPs).
· Share insights and learnings to ensure cross-market optimization.Skills and Competencies:
· Proven experience at Social Media Manager level, ideally within brand or agency settings
· Deep understanding of digital culture, internet trends, and platform-specific best practices
· Strong copywriting skills with an instinct for humor and tone
· Familiarity with social media management tools, photo editing tools, and designs tools and programs
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
· Flexible and adaptable, capable of responding quickly to new challenges and opportunities
· A proactive self-starter with strong communication and relationship-building skills
