Food & Beverage Manager

GrandLife Hotels is looking for an experienced Food & Beverage Floor Manager to join their team at The Roxy Hotel. This position oversees all facets of service operations, including customer service and front of house staff management, scheduling and training. We are seeking an individual with a dynamic personality, a strong floor presence, creative problem solver and passion for customer service.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Training and evaluating team members in their roles
• Conducting effective pre-shifts with staff
• Scheduling and payroll
• Inventory and purchasing
• Building strong rapport with guests and team members

Requirements:

• Energetic and detail-oriented with exceptional interpersonal skills
• Must be able to work AM & PM shifts
• Must have working knowledge of OpenTable and Micros
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with knowledge of Excel and Word are required
• Able to work effectively with all department managers
• An interest in style, music, fashion, art, and/or or dining and nightlife (pertaining to NYC)
