Group Exercise Operations Assistant
Battersea - Group Exercise

Description

Third Space Battersea is expanding with a new performance-focused space featuring four dedicated areas designed to enhance training and recovery:

  • Reformer Pilates Studio – A premium studio equipped with state-of-the-art reformers, focused on strength, control, alignment and low-impact, high-intensity training.

  • HYROX Studio – A specialist training environment designed to replicate race conditions, with functional equipment and training zones for endurance, performance and competition preparation.

  • Strength & Conditioning Studio – A purpose-built strength training space featuring squat racks, cable stations and progressive, functional training concepts to help members build strength effectively.

  • Hot & Cold Therapy Area – A dedicated recovery space combining heat, cold and breathwork therapies to support recovery, improve wellbeing and promote relaxation.

Together, these additions will provide members with more opportunities to train, recover and improve performance within a comprehensive fitness and wellness environment.

Our members have an unparalleled dedication to their training, with our classes are in more demand than ever and our members talk to us a lot about what they love and what improvements they think can be made to our Group Exercise offering. We are now looking for a Group Exercise Operations Assistant who will work alongside the Group Exercise Manager in order to ensure that we remain best in class and continue to be the Third Space for our members and enabling them to be their personal best.

This role will require you to teach a minimum of 10 classes per week and 30 hours of the week will be spent with our members - you'll be responding to their feedback on a daily basis and helping them with any problems they have with their classes. You'll also work closely with our instructor population to ensure that they are up to date with their admin and the Central Group Exercise team to assist with sourcing cover for instructors who are unable to attend their scheduled classes.

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to able to manage a wide and varied workload and be just as comfortable engaging with people over the phone and via email as you are face to face, on the gym floor or in the studio. You'll be an experienced teacher and this role will suit you if you have longer term ambitions to progress into Group Exercise Management in the future.
