Description

We have a unique opportunity for a Revenue Manager to join us at Harbour Hotels

Based from any of our Cornish hotel (Fowey, Padstow, St Ives) or at Head Office in Purewell, Christchurch, this is a full time role joining our Central Revenue team. 

Offering up to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Harbour Hotels has a collection of prestigious hotels nestled in some of the most beautiful locations across the South. Our luxury portfolio spans sensational coastal, country and city properties with a variety of exciting restaurant concepts and our unique HarSPA brand across many of our sites. 

 

The Role...

As Revenue Manager, you will be responsible for maximizing revenue, market share and profits for multiple hotels through the strategic coordination of revenue management processes and procedures.

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Ensure that sales and pricing strategies are based on sound commercial judgement through effective analysis and reporting
  • Ensure professional and efficient utilization of all systems, in line with company best practices and standard operating procedures
  • Ensure effective information gathering and analysis is conducted in order to identify and maximise on all possible opportunities and minimise any risks
  • Inventory Control : Manages and maintains Group and Transient inventory controls
  • Sales and Pricing Strategy : Develops, monitors and adjusts sales and pricing strategies
  • Information Analysis and Monitoring : Provides critical analysis of strategies, room statistics and demand factors
  • Forecasting : Prepare all weekly, monthly, 3 month forecast and budget using appropriate systems and tools
  • Competitive and Demand Analysis : Ensures rate shopping data is consistent, appropriate and effectively analysed
  • Driving Commercial Performance : Drives incremental EBITDA, RevPar and Fair Market Share performance

 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in the Hospitality Industry, preferably in Revenue or Reservation Management
  • Knowledge of all industry reports such as STR, Lighthouse, etc.
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Ability to work quickly in a high-pressure environment
  • Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
  • Excellent time management, multi-tasking and prioritization skills to meet deadlines
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow up
  • High levels of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality of information
