As an area maintenance person, you will be responsible for covering our pubs with rooms in and around Hampshire, Surrey & Berkshire in delivering best in class maintenance across our beautiful pub collection.

This is a mobile role, so it is essential you have your own transport and there is no requirement for evening and weekend work.

What will I be doing…?

• Responding proactively and delivering general maintenance works to our pubs to a very high and consistent standard. Whether it is keeping our paintwork fresh as new, repairing damaged furniture – this is a role for all around “handy people”

• The work includes general maintenance items such as basic cold water plumbing including toilet flushes and leaking pipes, floor & wall tiling, pest proofing, woodwork, joinery, painting and decorating, flooring, lock and door closer replacements and may also include larger works such as fence replacements – it is safe to say no two days will ever be the same!

• Supporting front line pub teams in ensuring businesses are maintained to a good and consistent standard

What do I need…?

• Proven experience of maintenance activity ideally combined with multi-unit retail business experience

• A customer service focus, can do and flexible approach to work as the work is extremely varied and requires a broad range of general maintenance experience

• High degree of maturity

• Pride and passion in all aspects of work are absolutely essential

• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
