GRAPHIC DESIGN INTERN

Hash Kitchen and The Sicilian Butcher are looking to add a Graphic Design Intern to our growing team!  We are seeking an individual who is looking to build their skills in a professional, supportive environment, while contributing to meaningful projects and creating impactful marketing initiatives.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A GRAPHIC DESIGNER INTERN

The Graphic Design Intern will create design content for two high-growth restaurant brands: Hash Kitchen and Sicilian Butcher. This role is responsible for executing design projects with a high level of visibility, collaboration, and review. You will work with a small team to track tasks and deadlines and deliver consistently and timely. This position will work with the Savory Fund Creative Director and the Marketing Director at both Hash Kitchen and Sicilian Butcher, as well as other stakeholders within each of those two brands. It is a position that will require a highly focused and detail-oriented individual to adapt to feedback and input from others. A Willingness to continually learn and improve talents and skills are expected.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 

• Be at least 18 years of age. 
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in graphic design, marketing, communications, business, or related field
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Monday.com
• Expertise in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator and Photoshop (InDesign, XD & Premiere may not be necessary but helpful) 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Develop and maintain print & digital design materials as assigned, including branding, marketing, instructional, menu, website, and internal design materials
• Develop a deep understanding of brand identities and maintain a brand voice in the production of materials 
• Manage project timelines with consistent communication. 
• Consistently adapt and improve.  
• Work with stakeholders to ensure projects uphold brand integrity and are completed based on scope and project plan. 
• Collaborate with multiple reviewers to create consensus 
• Willingness to support other cross functional marketing duties if necessary

May be required to work on a computer for extended periods of time, including viewing the screen, using a mouse, manipulating a keyboard with hands, and reaching with arms. May be asked to drive or travel by car, air, or other transportation for business purposes. Must be able to function effectively in a fast-paced working environment. Must be able to report to work responsive, free from sedatives, and in a non-sedative state. Must disclose prescribed and/or over-the-counter pharmaceuticals that may impair or affect the ability to perform the job's essential functions. Natural and regular stressors occur on the job.
