As Bar Manager at Hawksmoor Dublin, you’ll lead one of the most important parts of the guest experience. You’ll be responsible for running a high-performing bar operation, developing an exceptional team, and delivering drinks and service that match the quality of our food. This is a hands-on leadership role where presence, standards and people matter just as much as cocktails and margins.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and inspire the bar team to deliver outstanding drinks and warm, confident service
- Own the day-to-day running of the bar, ensuring consistency, pace and quality every service
- Recruit, train and develop bartenders, head bartenders and barbacks
- Manage bar stock, ordering, wastage and cost control
- Maintain and deliver Hawksmoor standards across cleanliness, organisation and presentation
- Work closely with the wider management team to drive sales and guest satisfaction
- Be a visible leader on the floor and behind the bar, especially during busy services
Who You Are
- Experienced as a Bar Manager or Assistant Bar Manager in a quality, high-volume or cocktail-led venue
- Passionate about drinks, hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
- A confident, people-focused leader who brings out the best in their team
- Organised, commercially aware and calm under pressure
