Senior Sous Chef – Hawksmoor Dublin

As Senior Sous Chef at Hawksmoor Dublin, you’ll be a key leader in the kitchen, working closely with the Head Chef to deliver exceptional food, develop the team and uphold Hawksmoor standards every day. This is a senior, hands-on role, combining leadership, coaching and operational excellence in a fast-paced, high-quality kitchen.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the Head Chef in leading the kitchen and delivering consistently outstanding food
  • Take ownership of day-to-day kitchen operations, including service, prep and standards
  • Lead, coach and develop the sous chef team and junior chefs
  • Drive food safety, hygiene and organisation across all sections
  • Maintain high standards of quality, consistency and timing during busy services
  • Support with stock control, ordering, waste management and cost awareness
  • Lead by example, setting the tone for teamwork, professionalism and pride

Who You Are

  • Experienced as a Senior Sous Chef or strong Sous Chef in a quality, high-volume fresh-food kitchen
  • A confident, calm leader who brings out the best in their team
  • Passionate about cooking with quality produce and open-fire techniques
  • Organised, detail-focused and strong under pressure
