As Junior Sous Chef at Hawksmoor, you’ll play a key leadership role in the kitchen, supporting the Sous Chef and Head Chef to deliver exceptional food and strong team performance. This is a hands-on position where you’ll lead sections, drive standards and help develop junior chefs, while continuing to grow your own leadership and commercial skills.

What You’ll Do
  • Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in running daily kitchen operations
  • Lead services and manage sections during busy shifts
  • Coach and develop Chef de Parties and Commis Chefs
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency and presentation
  • Ensure strong food safety, organisation and stock control
  • Contribute to menu development and operational improvements
Who You Are
  • Experienced as a strong Senior Chef de Partie or Chef de Partie ready to step up
  • Confident leading a team during service
  • Organised, calm and solutions-focused
  • Passionate about high-quality produce and open-fire cooking
  • A supportive leader who enjoys developing others
  • Commercially aware and eager to progress within a professional kitchen
