Description

A Shift Leader provides leadership to crew and other Leads during a shift to ensure great quality, service and cleanliness to customers. Shift Leaders perform a variety of tasks, which may include planning for each shift, monitoring performance during the shift, taking action to ensure the team is meeting Hawaiian Bros standards, monitoring safety, security, and profitability, and communicating with the next leader to help prepare the team for a great shift.

Compensation amount depends on experience and availability. Must be available to work nights and weekends.


Key Accountabilities 

Manage these areas every shift: 

  • Communication between crew members and management
  • Inventory management and organization 
  • Daily maintenance & cleanliness 
  • Training and coaching crew members  
  • Quality food production, time/temp control for safety
  • Exceptional customer service 
  • Scheduling deviations 

Job Essentials 

  • Support management by leading the restaurant during a shift 
  • Delegate responsibilities to team and ensure they are exceeding guest expectations 
  • Ensures all our product is stocked & stored 
  • Becomes a subject matter expert in each area of the restaurant 
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant 
  • Ensure proper set up and breakdown of the entire restaurant including dining room, restrooms, kitchen and prep areas 
  • Owns open, mid or close routines for the next shift 
  • Makes sure all food meets company food safety regulations and is super-delicious 
  • Recognizes a job well-done and lives the Hawaiian Bros culture 
  • Exemplifies legendary guest service for the whole team
