Position Overview:

A Shift Manager provides leadership to crew and other leads during a shift to ensure great quality, service and cleanliness to customers. Shift Managers may operate the restaurant independently from time to time with or without direct support from onsite upper management. Shift Managers perform a variety of tasks, which may include planning for each shift, mentoring crew during the shift, and taking action to ensure the team is meeting Hawaiian Bros standards to help run a great shift. Pay is based on experience and availability.

  • Leadership by example, following all recipes and Hawaiian Bros systems and procedures
  • Availability during evenings and weekend shifts
  • Ability to coach crew members and be coached by management team

Job Essentials 

  • Lead the restaurant during a shift 
  • Delegate responsibilities to team and ensure they are exceeding guest expectations 
  • Ensures all our product is stocked & stored correctly
  • Becomes a subject matter expert in each area of the restaurant 
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant 
  • Ensure proper set up and breakdown of the entire restaurant including dining room, restrooms, kitchen and prep areas 
  • Owns open, mid or close routines for the next shift 
  • Makes sure all food meets company food safety regulations and is super-delicious 
  • Recognizes a job well-done and lives the Hawaiian Bros culture 
  • Exemplifies legendary guest service for the whole team

Various Positions in the restaurant:

  • Kitchen Prep: Assist in the preparation of ingredients, following all recipes and ensuring fresh and tasty food.
  • Grill Cooks: Take charge of the grill station, glazing our signature chicken to perfection. We have a simple menu and easy-to-follow recipes!
  • Food Assembly: Contribute on assembly lines, completing plate production with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Dish Duty: Maintain cleanliness in our kitchen by managing dish washing tasks and ensuring a sanitary work environment.
  • FOH: taking orders, running food, maintaining dining room cleanliness, operating an efficient DT
