Heart of the House Hospitality is a leading provider of staffing solutions nationwide. We partner with Corporate Clients, Hotels, Restaurants, Banquet Halls, Catering Companies and Private Venus. Currently we are looking to build our core team of experienced Waitstaff for our New York and New Jersey Market.
Heart of the House supports multiple hospitality positions for a variety of functions with different clientele each week. We are currently seeking reliable, professional Wait staff who have a minimum of 2-year experience in the hospitality industry, have a professional presentation, a great work ethic, and a dedication to excellence. Responsibilities
Report to all assignments on time and in proper uniform guidelines
Serving food and drinks per banquet orders
Thoroughly completes all station set-up and breakdown responsibilities
Working assignments that will include conference services, sit down dinners, receptions, buffet banquets, and occasionally outdoor events
Displays a positive attitude toward teammates and managers
Oversee and guide guests complete dining experience
Making sure glasses are filled and clearing plates as needed
Communicating special meal requirements to the kitchen
Skills and Experience
Minimum 2 years of waitstaff experience in a catering, corporate, banquet, restaurant, or fine dining setting
Outstanding customer service skills
Detailed orientated and have good time management
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced changing environment
Lifts and transports up to 40 lbs.
Frequently reaches, lifts, stoops, bends and cleans to maintain service area
Uniform Requirements: (Mixture of): Black dress shoes, Black socks, Black dress pants, Black belt, Black or White Button-down collared shirt, Long black tie, Black Bow Tie, Black Vest, Black Blazer Jacket
Tips Certifications is a plus
