Dietary Aide
Heart of the House Hospitality is a leading provider of staffing solutions nationwide. We partner with Corporate Clients, Hotels, Restaurants, Banquet Halls, Private venues and Hospitals. Currently we are looking to hire professionally qualified individuals to help support one of the top hospitals in the city.
We are currently seeking reliable and experienced professionals who have a minimum of 2-years’ experience in the hospitality or hospital industry, have a professional presentation, a great work ethic, and a dedication to excellence. Job Description:
• Sets up assigned tray line station with appropriate items in preparation for meal service
• Responsible for specific tray line station with appropriate items for preparation of meal services
• Meticulously place current items on patient trays according to set menus and station tasks
• Ensure patient trays are checked for accuracy
• Deliver loaded food trucks to patient wards, pass trays to patients with the assistance of nurses for patient identification
• Collect all empty meal trays, return trays and trucks to the kitchen for next meal distribution
• Deliver late or special request trays to patients
• Strips tray waste into garbage cans; runs reusable dishes, utensils and equipment through dishwasher, utilizing appropriate cleaning and sanitizing agent
Requirements:
• Ability to work the following schedule: 5 days a week rotating (Hours: 6am-2pm & 11am-7pm) 37.5 hours per week- Weekends mandatory
• Proper bedside manner and extreme attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills, the timeliness of food delivery is of utmost importance for the patient’s treatment plan
• Attention to detail regarding dietary restrictions
• Previous food handling experience
