Operations Manager 

We have an amazing opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to join our fantastic Head Office team.  The role will see you working remotely across the Home Counties.   

Following our significant investment from Alchemy Partners last year, we are in the early stages of expanding our estate, venturing further into the pub market, while also entering into the pubs with rooms sector to complement our already industry leading portfolio. 

Our restaurants and brasseries ooze their own individual character and charm with the welcome twist of delicious french brasserie food. Our fabulous menus are devised by our chef patron Raymond Blanc, one of the most well-respected chefs in the UK. Our food is cooked to order, using the best, freshest, seasonal ingredients. 

We are looking for an Operations Manager currently working in a similar role, with a minimum of two-years experience, for a branded restaurant, or premium pub company. 

Working extremely closely with the Operations Director, they will be  fully accountable for the delivery to budget of the P&L across their region, along with overall responsibility, together with their Area Chef and General Managers at site level, for setting and achieving financial targets, generating additional revenue through precise controls, training and development of key employees. 

Operations Manager - The Ideal Candidate:

  • Must have experience as an Operation Manager, overseeing no less than 5 restaurant or premium pub operations.  
  • Financially astute
  • Commercially driven
  • Great communicator; both verbal and written
  • Natural motivator of teams  Keen eye for detail  
  • Able to organise and plan ahead
  • To have a positive, ‘can do’ attitude  
  • To be calm under pressure and have the ability to manage difficult situations
  • To be able to react and adapt to changing deadlines and priorities  
  • To have and/or develop a good understanding of HR, recruitment and marketing  
  • To be computer-literate – an excellent working knowledge of Excel is required.
