Hendel Products Group Facilities is seeking a qualified HVAC Technician to join our skilled team and service HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR FULL-TIME HVAC Technician
Work with the great team at Hendel Products Group, which operates more than 31 restaurants in NYC, Brooklyn, Queens, and Long Island.
- **EPA Universal Certification to handle refrigerant preferred**
- **Technical Degree or Certificate in HVAC from an accredited school
HVAC Service Technician Responsibilities:
- Respond to service calls in company vehicles with company tools
- Valid driver’s license and clean record REQUIRED
- Accurately diagnose service issues and repair restaurant equipment
- Repair equipment and perform maintenance cleaning as per maintenance plans
- Able to lift up to 75 pounds and climb 6-12' ladders.
- Maintain a professional image at all times.
- Ability to fill out Work orders, Purchase Orders, and Receipts
HVAC Service Technician Qualifications:
- 2 years in HVAC service, preferred but not required if you have other relevant experience for Entry Level.
- 5-10 years’ Experience for Senior Technicians
- Technical troubleshooting ability
- Knowledge of Heating and Cooling systems for commercial operations
- Ability to conduct yourself in a friendly & professional manner
- Ability to repair equipment with appropriate company tools without close supervision.
- Work with support personnel
- 18+ years of age
- Valid Driver's License
