Henrietta Hotel opened in 2017, right in the heart of bustling Covent Garden. A haven nestled away from the busy streets outside, Henrietta is comprised of 40 rooms divided into two buildings. In the summer of 2024, renowned British chef Jackson Boxer takes the helm of the restaurant, reimagining the food offering against the backdrop of a full restaurant redesign. Expect nods to their Parisian heritage and the city’s famed bistros, as well as to Covent Garden’s rich history. Taking inspiration from London’s continental neighbours, the menu at Henri will reflect the culinary traditions and timeless appeal of a Parisian bistro, serving Jackson’s take on French classics alongside signature Experimental cocktails.
Role: Commis Chef
Rate: £14.00 per hour (Approx £34,944.00 per annum)
Contract Hours: 48hrs per week (full-time) also part-time positions available.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the food preparation
process.
- Cook and prepare elements of
high-quality dishes.
- Prepare vegetables, meats and
fish.
- Support the Head Chef with
deliveries and restocking.
- Clean kitchen stations.
- Maintain a high level of food
quality, exceeding our guests’ expectations.
- Adhere to quality, hygiene and
cleanliness standards.
- Apply all Health & Safety and
food quality regulations.
ABOUT
YOU
- Experience
in a similar role within a comparable venue.
- Have a passion for Food &
Beverage industry.
- Be
well spoken with excellent communication skills.
- Attention
to details and customer needs.
- Social,
engaging and motivated.
- Flexibility
to respond quickly and positively to a range of work situations.
- Knowledge
as well as abilities in other languages would be beneficial.
- Proof
of eligibility to work in the UK.
