The Position

We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Junior Sous Chef to join our kitchen team on a permanent, full-time basis.

Working closely with an experienced Head Chef and senior kitchen team, this is an excellent opportunity for a chef who is ready to step up, further develop their skills and play a key role in delivering high quality food in a busy hotel kitchen.

You will support the day-to-day running of the kitchen, assist with supervising the team, and help ensure that dishes are prepared and presented to a consistently high standard. This role will suit someone who is passionate about food, eager to learn, and keen to develop into a strong and confident kitchen leader over time.

The Person

We are looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality, committed to quality, and excited by the opportunity to grow within a supportive kitchen environment.

You will already have solid kitchen experience, ideally within a hotel, restaurant or similar fast-paced setting, and be ready for the next step in your culinary career. You will have a good understanding of food preparation, kitchen organisation and food safety, along with a genuine passion for creating high quality dishes using seasonal ingredients.

You should be well organised, self-motivated and able to work calmly under pressure. Just as importantly, you will be a positive team player who communicates well, leads by example and is keen to support and encourage others in the kitchen.

Most of all, we are looking for someone with the right attitude, enthusiasm and potential to develop into a key member of our brigade.
