The Executive Sous Chef assists the Pitmaster/Chef de Cuisine with the overall management of the kitchen and pit operations. This includes supervising and training BOH staff, ensuring proper inventory and maintenance of ingredients and equipment, maintain high standards of preparation and presentation of all dishes, keeping food costs under budget, maintaining health department standards, and promoting the Hill Country spirit of hospitality and excellent barbecue.
