The Role:

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Wine Waiter to join our dedicated Food & Beverage team. This role is perfect for a wine enthusiast looking to advance their career in the hospitality industry. You'll work closely with our Senior Management to manage our wine selection, enhance our wine service, and contribute to our award-winning dining experiences.

Your skills and expertise:

  • Assisting in the selection, acquisition, and storage of wines, ensuring our cellar reflects both classic and contemporary choices
  • Providing expert advice and recommendations to guests, enhancing their dining experience with tailored wine pairings
  • Conducting wine tastings and educational sessions for both guests and staff
  • Working alongside the Food & Beverage team to ensure seamless service and promote an understanding of our wine offerings
  • Upselling and promoting featured wines, special vintages, and wine-related events
  • Having a foundation level qualification from a recognised wine education body (e.g., WSET Level 2) is preferred but not essential
  • Having previous experience in a similar role or a strong passion for wine and a desire to develop a career in wine services
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage guests and colleagues alike.

Shift Patterns:

  • Full-Time - 37.5 hours per week
  • 5 days out of 7
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
